Our Brilliant Frames have been designed in Airlie Beach, Australia by a professional Custom Picture Framer and Photographer husband and wife team with over 15 yrs experience in the industry. We are a small family owned and operated business and know when it comes to purchasing anything for our children and our family home that quality and functionality really matters.
A Brilliant Frame is a front opening picture frame with a magnetic whiteboard inside. The Brilliant Frame concept is a picture frame that is hung on your wall and is aesthetically pleasing to look at like a picture frame but uniquely, it opens at the front like a cabinet without the need to remove it off the wall. Inside the frame you will find a magnetic whiteboard to allow you to secure photos, certificates, artworks etc.
When not using it for artwork or certificates etc you can simply use it as a whiteboard for your favourite quotes or even your weekly shopping or to do list. The possibilities with these frames are endless.
Having been Custom Framers for 15 yrs we have seen so much timber going through our studio and also unused frames and waste timber going into the rubbish and landfill. Living near the Great Barrier Reef we want to protect our environment for our future generations. We were so excited to find a company that purchase polystyrene waste products from all over the world and recycles it into these high quality picture frames.
Being made from such a high quality recycled dense product the frames are strong, durable, water and mould resistant and of course highly attractive.
Having children in mind when designing these frames we have chosen not to use glass as the front glazing. We have opted for a safe premium high grade Flexi Glass for the front that looks like glass however if the frame is accidently dropped or knocked it will not shatter like traditional glass would.
Each Brilliant Frames comes with 4 white magnets and 1 x black whiteboard marker. Additional magnets, whiteboard markers and accessories can be purchase on this website.
Yes ! That is one of our best features of our Brilliant Frame. You can hang the frame vertical or horizontal depending which way your certificate, artwork or photos need to go.
The Brilliant Frame has been designed to look like a picture frame rather than a cabinet. Therefore the frame only comes off the wall by approximately 5cm. The depth will vary is using a larger hook or wall fixture.
Brilliant Frames are not very heavy, however like all picture frames we recommend you use a picture frame hook and nail to secure the frame to the wall. Where possible finding a stud in the wall to nail the hook into is your best option. Or correct masonry fixtures used for masonry walls. We do not recommend using any of the temporary stick-on and removable hanging systems on the market as these can come loose over time and the frame will fall and be damaged.
Orders will be processed and dispatched within 5 – 7 business days. If for any reason there is a delay we will notify you via email. We use a combination of Australia Post and Australian Couriers and delivery times may vary depending on your location. Orders may take up to 3 or 4 weeks via couriers depending on your location.
